and I am Vice President of the Cerebral Palsy Parents Council.
We raise money to help send Disabled Individuals to a summer camp its for those who have a Disability of any type, we provide a counselor for each camper. But what we really need are donations from Individuals to help us send those who would like to go it cost per camper! We have all types of fundraisers like bake sells and raffles to carwashes.
I know what I'm talking about because I've been doing this for over 25 years! You see I have CP to! I made this Web page with the aid of my pc, my mouth stick, Netscape Composer!
The Camp, which will be held at the Spring Heights Education Center in Spencer, West Virginia in the first week of August.
The reason I made this Web page is to see if there's anyone out there who would like to volunteer to help us. Now we are not asking for a hand out but what we are asking for is a few volunteers to help with our fundraisers and to be camp counselor!
I'll be adding pix of the camp and campers just as soon as I can get the pix scanned, now heres a small list of activities that we have for our campers.
We have bingo almost every night, that's when each camper wins a real prize there's a hay ride one night that week we also take our campers on a nature walk every morning after breakfast where they may get a chance to see some wild life like deer or rabbit's or anything.
We also have arts and crafts, outdoor games like treasure hits we take the campers out into the field one night for an old fashion camp fire the campers always love that! And on the last night we always have a big party and let them dance the night away!
The dances are always better if we can get a live band for it.
Each camper has his/her counsoler to help them that week the counselors take turns with each camper everyday if you know a anyone from the ages of 16 and up that would like too be a counselor,

We had our first fundraiser for the group May 6th 001 we raised just by selling bake goods and hot dogs and we also raffled off a 19 inch colored TV/VCR.We are planing another bake sell hot dog sell close the Father's Day!

Hello my name is Stanley and I'm 41 years oldAnd I'm a born again Christian.
Lets see what can I tell you about myself? I'm 6'0 with dark brown hair and blue eyes .
I live in West Virginia USA in a small town called Alum Creek where I'm the
Vice President of the Cerebral Palsy Parents Council. We raise money to help
send disabled people to summer camp for one week and yes I'm also disabled I
have Cerebral Palsy myself I'm a CP quad. But I live life to the fullest thanks to the Lord!
I also like gospel music, walks in the park will I could say rolls in the
park. (LOL) I love animals and spending time with my family and friends. the Lord has spoken to me and he wanted me to start a nursing homes visitation ministry in my local area.
My hobbies are collecting eagle statues of all shapes and sizes and I like
surfing the net I'm always busy raising money for the CPPC I enjoy
action movies, Nascar football foftball, shooting, hunting, fishing camping and going to church.
